As one of the oldest ritual objects, The Right Turning Conch is one of the oldest ritual objects and symbolizes femininity and was used as a musical offering to the gods. It also symbolizes the fame of the Buddha's teachings, which spread in all directions like the sounds of the conch trumpet. Our custom cut rock crystal pendant was hand carved using reverse intaglio, a technique where the shell is carved into the flat back so, that when viewed through the top, the image appears three-dimensional. The pendant set in 10K gold measures approximately 3/4" long by 9/16" wide and hangs on a 16" or 18" 10K gold chain with a lobster claw closure.
